Tim & Cara's Wedding, the North Carolina dream

What a beautiful bride!  Cara and Tim got married on a Tuesday at the historic Baird Inn in North Carolina.  Surrounded by friends and family, they were married on the front steps of the inn by Tim's Father.  It was picturesque to be sure, full of southern charm.

Wedding in Tennessee part 1

I have landed in Knoxville TN to photograph a much anticipated wedding of cara and tim. While waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive I gave cara my camera and let her loose.

More to come... Stay tuned!

Fiesta in the Park - Cinco de Mayo

Now what is a Fiesta without a good car show? There was soooo much to see, but I wanted to share a few of my favorites.

Besides cars, there were a few bicycles that were totally duded up - I especially liked this one witha spare tire. Why didn't I think of that in my bike riding days? A spare tire on the back would have come in handy at least a dozen times!!

Some models that were expertly crafted. I liked the people that were placed in them. :)

Guy leaning on a car that's leaning the other way. Now that's classic. :)

Glitter on the ground around the car, reflected in the so-shiny-you-can-see-your-reflection paint job.

A decked out Bratz doll showcasing the "customize your sunglasses" vendor.

This are goods made by women in impoverished countries and sold here in the states by the help of XS, a ministry that helps improve their quality of life.

These are bags/purses made with discarded materials given a second life. Mine is made of old laundry detergent packaging, and smells like a fresh load of laundry. :)

What a great smile!

I have been friends with Jim for a few years now. He still comes in to his local Starbucks on a daily basis, chatting with the barista and drinking his iced tea or mocha, depending on the season.

What drew me to Jim was his GREAT laugh! His whole face lights up, starting from his sparkling blue eyes. He thought I was crazy when I asked to do some portraits with him, but hopefully he would approve.

Enjoy!
