Starting a new book

I like to read and my church pastor recommended a book that goes along with the message series we are in now called "changing the world"

Looks like some inspiring stuff- will let you know how it goes.

Happy birthday to me!!

I had a wonderful day filled with nothing but love.

Started the day with a path of chocolates leading me to some very thoughtful presents from Tarah. Wahoo!

Next was lunch with the Kateses and Sabumnim. Did a little shopping and got a pedicure. (oh yes...bring on the girlie pampering!)

Caught a movie; monsters vs aliens which I thought was hilarious and capped off with a girlie night at the dojang. Thank you everyone-I appreciate all the birthday wishes!!

Cara & Tim Engagement

Cara and Tim have known each other since high school, but it wasn't until last year they fell in love. Running in to each other on Facebook, they decided to meet up in Denver for a little catching up and the rest is history.

He is a musician extraordinaire and she is simply the most fabulous hair dresser in Colorado. Put the two together and...well...see for yourself.

I can't wait to shoot your wedding in May - Blessings you two!

Anything Goes!

Saturday night the family went to Tallahassee Community College to see Josh and Noemi in a play together! It was Anything Goes. Josh played Lord Evelyn (with a smashing English accent, I must say) and did an especially wonderful job with the comedic dance at the end! Wahoo!! Noemi was in and out, playing numerous parts and we enjoyed it all

April birthdays at Cheesecake Factory

My best friend Tarah and I had the opportunity to spend Easter in Florida with family (her family; I have been adopted in as another sister)

We flew in to Orlando and revived an old tradition of dinner with friends to celebrate our April birthdays. Brett and Alli, Cherish, Vicki, Tarah and myself went to cheesecake factory and had a blast complete with gift exchange and everything

To do, or not to do?

Good morning everyone! As I start my week out on Monday morning, I go over the mental checklist.
What did I not finish last week that I need to finish today?
What do I need to do this week?

Seems pretty monotonous and humdrum. What did I do, or not do? Is that what we're all sifted down to? What we do? I have a feeling you are thinking like me; you'd rather not think of who you are based on what you do, rather know who you are and let that affect what you do.

So as I ponder who I am, that helps me put in perspective what my assignment is here on earth. My joy returns for the little things because I keep in mind the big picture. Life goes from a task list to a heavenly challenge to make a difference and serve The One who put me here with joy and gladness.

Friends since middle school, Rachel and Damien weren't exactly on each other's radar until years after High School and a random reuniting. The three of us spent some time at the Broadmoor hotel capturing images and telling the story of their love.
